Our Team

JCC’s Leadership consists of a Board of Officers, led by Pastor Sharon Townsend and a Business team that keep administrative and financial control. Each department is led by a co-ordinator. Every member is encouraged to own at least one area of activity. JCC is accountable to The New Testament Assembly, a registered charity, and governed by its constitution.

Pastor Sharon Townsend

Rev Sharon is the lead Pastor at Junction Community Church. She is charged with providing leadership to the Pastoral Team and admin personnel. She has a heart for people and is passionate about spiritual growth.

Deacon Mervyn Townsend

Deacon Mervyn is our Praise & Worship lead. He understands the need for a vibrant and dynamic worship environment. Music is truly his instrument of praise.

Rev Lloyd Dwyer

Rev Lloyd is an accomplished speaker and teacher who is doctrinally sound. He leads Bible Study. An encourager - one who exhibits a high degree of wisdom and maturity.

Ruth Simpson

Ruth is our lead Sunday School teacher. She thrives in seeing young minds develop in the Lord. She supports them in their efforts to learn and live like Christ.

Bola Makinwa

Bola leads the bible study ministry. He possesses the spiritual gift of teaching. When God speaks, he writes, illuminating the gospel and drawing people to Christ.

Bart Chuku

Bart is a man of integrity. He has the heart of a servant and a strong faith in God. He demonstrates practical and thorough biblical knowledge when preaching.

Dawn Broomfield

Dawn is our finance assistant. She is approachable and reliable. She has a heart for the individual believer as well as for the entire church family.

Tamara Makinwa

Tamara Makinwa

Tamara is our Admin Assistant, who is always willing to serve. Her vision is seeing the people of God operate as one body, becoming an unrivalled force for change.
